In registering with EasyTutors you are deemed to have agreed to these terms, conditions and legal agreements.
1. There is a membership fee for tutors joining this site. This fee is $50 and is payable via PayPal after you have sent us your registration details and we have approved you as a member tutor on the site. The payment procedure is safe and secure and we advise you to log onto www.paypal.com for further information. This fee is refunded to you after you have accepted and sucessfully completed 20 hours of tutoring within the first 60 days of registration. If you receive bookings within the first 60 days of your membership but cancel them and your total completed sessions are less than 20 hours within those 60 days then your membership fee will not be refunded. We charge this fee upfront to cover running costs, the marketing of your services and to ensure your commitment to EasyTutors. For the sake of students and tutors, we need to maintain a strong reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.
2. When a student searches on EasyTutors and selects a tutor, we confirm their booking by charging the student a small booking fee on-line via Paypal. This booking fee confirms the student’s commitment so valuable time in your calendar is not booked unnecessarily. The booking fee is 15% of your stated hourly rate. For example, if you charge AED 200 per hour and the student wishes to book you for 1 hour. The student will pay EasyTutors a booking fee online of AED 30. When you meet the student and complete your session, the student will pay you directly AED 170. It really is as simple as that. This saves time on administration and means you receive your payment immediately in your chosen method and in the quickest way possible.

4. If you have no specific teaching qualifications or academic certificates, please provide two names and numbers that we can contact as references for you - the most important qualities we look for in a tutor are knowledge, enthusiasm and patience!
5. EasyTutors strongly recommends to students to request sight of your ID and qualifications at the start of the first session. Even if not requested by the student, please provide your passport and another suitable form of ID, along with any relevant qualifications certificates on the first tutoring session. As well as ensuring student safety, providing these documents builds a level of trust with your students and increases the chances of a long term commitment from them.
6. EasyTutors are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special,punitive or similar damages arising out of use of our tutoring service, or anyerrors or omissions in the content of our materials. You, the client specificallywaive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.
7. A tutor cannot be held responsible for any students, nor guarding a house and household effects while tutoring. Please ensure that a responsible adult is on the premises at all times. If in doubt, it is up to the tutor to take the necessary precautions avoiding any questionable situations. EasyTutors cannot be held responsible for any situations arising between Parents, Students & Tutors although we will do everything in our power to mediate with a view to resolving any disputes and complaints. This should not in any way be viewed as an admission of liability by EasyTutors.
8. The tutors supplied by EasyTutors are self-employed with respect to paying any relevant taxes or other duties payable. EasyTutors have no financial liability or any other implications for tutors and students.
9. You are requested to ensure you are sufficiently resourced and appropriately dressed when tutoring.
10. You must arrive to lessons on time. We recommend that you arrive five (5) minutes early, and leave on time. If you anticipate you are going to be more than five (5) minutes late, then you must inform EasyTutors prior to making the journey or when practicable during the journey; we will then inform the students on your behalf – this means you only have to send one email to us and we will take the responsibility of updating the students. The period of time late must be made up at the end of the lesson or at another date.
11. All lessons must be prepared and structured well in advance.
12. Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booking as this is simply professional and courteous. If you cancel a booking with less than 24 hours notice within your first 15 hours of tutoring and the student is unable to reschedule, the booking fee paid online by the student is refunded to the student from your membership fee. Our priority is the students therefore if you are cancelling or rescheduling more than 25% of your bookings, we will need to review your membership in order to protect the other members of EasyTutors by upholding our reputation for high levels of customer service.
13. If for any reason, you have to stop tuition mid-course, EasyTutors will endeavour to replace you as soon as possible, subject to availability, in order to minimise disruption to the student's progress.
14. Please deal with queries from students in a helpful and professional manner at all times. When students or a member of the EasyTutors staff leave message/s for you via email or telephone, please reply as soon as possible, even if it is to say you are not available for tuition. Good communication is important for all parties concerned.
15. You are responsible for your online Calendar. Please ensure that you keep it accurate and up-to-date since potential students will be booking you based on availability. Please block times/days of the week that you are not available to conduct tutoring sessions. If you have holidays booked in advance, please record these details to reflect your availability. Your Calendar assumes you are available at all times to conduct tutorial sessions unless you mark any dates/times on your Calendar. You can change your availability at any time by simply logging in to the site.
16. EasyTutors will regularly conduct follow-up contacts with students to ensure they are satisfied with the previous sessions. We will pass on to you any positive or negative feedback in a constructive manner to help you with any future sessions.
17. Students are asked to provide feedback after each session. This is done by answering a few basic questions in a simple check-box format; the questions cover punctuality, knowledge and teaching skills. No written comments are requested. You are rated according to this feedback and an average rating is posted with your profile in the search results. The average rating is posted after you have completed 5 sessions.
18. Students and Tutors can also provide feedback in a more personal manner by emailing us through our website, raising any concerns or points, positive or negative.
19. EasyTutors reserves the right to modify and improve the terms & conditions.
20. You agree that EasyTutors may terminate your password, account, or use of the site for any reason. All notices you give to us shall be made via e-mail. In addition, EasyTutors may post notices or links to notices through the Site to inform you of changes to the Terms, the Site, or other matters of importance.
21. EasyTutors will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties.
22. We encourage tutors to meet parents to introduce yourself. As well as parents getting to know you, it serves to give peace of mind for both parties.
23. In any kind of situation where parents affect your tuition to the student, please work towards resolving the issue as amicably as possible. EasyTutors are happy to offer assistance in resolving any matters.
24. Registered Tutors are deemed to have agreed that all information and certificates are true and accurate to the best of their knowledge. If in doubt about any information you have supplied, the onus is on the tutor to check and inform EasyTutors. EasyTutors will not be held liable in any way for legal consequences as a result of discrepencies or irregularities in any information supplied by a Tutor to us.
25. It is the responsibility of registered tutors to ensure they are free, legally or otherwise, to conduct tutoring sessions as per the availability of their Calender.
26. Most private tutors are unquestionably honest and a pleasure to do business with. Sadly there may instances where a tutor may attempt to deprive EasyTutors of funds due to it, using the agency to "line their own pockets" with no regard for the ongoing running costs of a commercial business. We have systems in place to bring such cases to light. Tutors found to have diverted funds from EasyTutors are deemed in breach of this fidelity clause and will automatically be removed from our files and entered onto an agency blacklist.
27. Please note that any complaint from a student that is upheld by EasyTutors may result in the tutor being removed from our agency. We reserve the right to have the final say in such matters.
28. As a registered tutor with EasyTutors, you are classed as an independent contractor rather than anemployee. You have full responsibility and flexibility for accepting tuition sessions with students and updating your availability through your personal calendar into the system. You are also responsible for setting your own hourly rate and the subjects you are skilled to teach in.
29. All initial correspondence between you and prospective students will be done via the EasyTutors website. Before lessons can be provided, a student must have billing information so they can pay 15% of your hourly lessons. Correspondence should continue to go through your EasyTutors throughout the course of your relationship with thestudent.
30. In certain situations, tutors may be inclined to charge a different hourly rate. For example, when providing lessons to a group of students or travelling a significant distance to meetwith a student. In these and other cases, you may wish to increase your hourly rate.Alternatively, you may wish to lower your hourly rate for lessons to secure a particulartutoring opportunity. If you have a situation such as this, EasyTutors are happy to accommodate hourly rateexceptions by email. Please use our Contact Us form.
31. You agree to indemnify and hold EasyTutors and its subsidiaries, affiliates,shareholders, officers, directors, agents, licencees, suppliers, alliancemembers, other partners, employees, and representatives harmless from any claimor demand, including reasonable solicitor/attorney fees, made by any third party due toor arising out of Your Content, Your use of or connection to the Site (includingany use by You on behalf of another party), Your violation of the Terms, or Yourviolation of any rights of another.

EasyTutors may run advertisements and promotions from third parties on our website.Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotionsof, advertisers other than EasyTutors found on or through the Site, includingpayment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms,conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, aresolely between you and such advertiser. Puzzleworks are not responsible or liable forany loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or asthe result of the presence of such non-EasyTutors advertisers on the Site.
33. Disclaimer of warranties - Your use of the EasyTutors website is at your sole risk unless otherwise explicitly stated. Our website, including the information, services, and content, is provided on an"as is", "as available", and "with all faults" basis. EasyTutors disclaims allexpress or implied conditions, representations, and warranties of any kind,including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, satisfactoryquality, or fitness for a particular purpose. EasyTutors makes no representations,warranties, conditions or guarantees as to the usefulness, quality, suitability,truth, accuracy, or completeness of our website.

EasyTutors makes no warranty or representations that: (a) the website will beuninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) the results that may beobtained from the use of the website will be accurate or reliable; (c) thequality of any products, services, content, information, or other materialpurchased or obtained from the website will meet Your expectations orrequirements; or (d) any errors in the website will be corrected.
35. You assume all risk for any damage to your computer system or loss of datathat results from obtaining any content from the EasyTutors website including any damagesresulting from computer viruses.
